Privacy Statement

Our website

We collect certain information about your visit to the website of the Leverhulme automatically. This includes the internet domain from which you accessed the website, the date and time you accessed the site and the pages you visited. We collect this information solely for use within the Trust to monitor how the website is used and so help us make it work better.

Our Newsletter and e-bulletins

We send our Newsletter and e-bulletins to the research support office of each UK university. 

As an individual, inclusion on the Leverhulme Trust mailing list is solely upon your request. We never make personal information you have given us for this purpose  available to any third party.

General Data Protection Regulation 2018

The Leverhulme Trust is registered under and complies with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation 2018.

Applicants for our grants

In order for the Leverhulme Trust to assess applications, it will be necessary to store and process the information that applicants send to the Trust. Data will be held securely and lawfully processed, will be kept up-to-date, and not retained for longer than necessary. Data may also be used to compile published lists of award holders, which may be available on the internet and in our Annual Report.

An applicant will be deemed to have given their explicit consent to the Trust to process the data they have sent us in their application, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018, either by signing an application form or by signing a letter of application for a grant.
