The Leverhulme Trustees are pleased to announce their 1,000th Early Career Fellow – Dr Lauren Brent, an evolutionary biologist, at the University of Exeter. Many congratulations to Lauren.
Since the scheme was established in 1994, the Trust has invested more than £65 million in the Early Career Fellowships, with matched funding from host institutions. This has enabled us to help build the academic and research careers of over 1000 Early Career Fellows .
Lauren Brent’s research focuses on the evolution of sociality and asks why social relationships are formed and how they are maintained. Lauren has kindly contributed a piece about her research to this month's Newsletter. Download a copy now and read about her ground-breaking research.
